Program News
Pelham Community Power program is launching in June with savings for customers. A public information meeting was held Tuesday April 28 during the Select Board meeting recording here: Board of Selectmen Meeting – April 28, 2026 – Pelham Community Television (PTV) Pelham, NH. The discussion was almost 2 hours and covered a wide variety of topics. A summary of customer questions and answers will be posted here shortly.
On behalf of the Town, the program supplier First Point Power sent a first-class letter to every Pelham customer mailing address provided by the utility explaining the program and their options for participating. If you didn’t receive a letter, check with your distribution utility (Liberty or Eversource) to make sure your contact information with them is up to date and correct.

The program provides a new Pelham Default supply rate and optional rates for electricity customers in Pelham. Services from Liberty Utilities and Eversource are not affected. The distribution utilities serving customers in Pelham will continue to deliver electricity, respond to emergencies, and bill customers. The supplier portion of your electric bill will change to reflect participation in the program. There are no customer costs or individual contracts to participate, and no cost to the Town for providing the program.
Customers currently on utility default supply are eligible for automatic enrollment in the program. Customers currently on competitive supply are not eligible for automatic enrollment but are welcome to join the program. These customers should check for early termination fees with their current supplier before enrolling. Net metering customers and hosts identified by the utility are also not eligible and should not join the program before reviewing the Net Metering FAQ provided at right.
Customers eligible for automatic enrollment in the program do not need to take any action to be enrolled in the Pelham Default rate on their meter read date in June. Eligible customers that want a different program rate or want to opt out of the program must take action to do so.
Forms for opting out, joining/enrolling or changing products are above. All changes to customer accounts are made on the next available meter read date, and may take 2-3 months to be reflected in the electricity bill.
