Plaistow Community Power is a town-operated bulk purchasing program for electricity open to customers in Plaistow. Starting August 1st, residential customers can save $30 on their Unitil electric bills for use of 1,000 kWhs per month, $15 for use of 500 kWhs, more savings for customers with higher use. See the rate table below to compare rates.
The program is open to all customers in Plaistow, including those that previously opted out. There are no individual customer contracts or fees to participate, join or leave the program. Participants and all customers continue to be served by Unitil for electricity delivery and billing services.
